Completing your application form

Please note that only completed application forms are acceptable. CVs will not be considered unless accompanied by a completed application form.

You can apply using our online application forms in two different ways:

1. Adobe Acrobat PDF

This document is in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format, which you will need the Acrobat Reader to read: the reader is free and is available to download from Adobe Systems.

Download the document, print it out and then complete it by hand or with a printer/typewriter as you would if the form had been posted to you.

Post the form back to the address indicated

2. Rich Text Format (RTF)

Please follow these instructions carefully

  1. Download and save the application form onto your computer. The application form is in the Rich Text format, which can be read and edited in Microsoft Word, or any compatible word processor.
  2. Open the application form in word processing application, e.g.: MS Word, Corel Word Perfect, Open Office, et cetera.
  3. Fill in the application form using your word processor. It is important that you do not change the format of the application form. If you need extra space, please add more pages to the end of the form.
  4. Leave the signature box blank. If you are shortlisted, you will be required to sign the form when you attend interview to certify that the information given is correct.
  5. Remember to add the correct reference and closing date to the form (both can be found on the advert).
  6. Save your application form and email as an attachment to jobs@bfi.org.uk by 4:00 pm on the closing date.
