Link Up Media Career Development Day

Tuesday 2 October 2007, 10am - 4.30pm

Link Up is a unique career development programme developed by Shape, the UK's leading arts organisation for deaf and disabled people.

Speakers for the event have been drawn from across the fields of Media and broadcasting and include:

  • Vidar Hjardeng, ITV political correspondent
  • Ewan Marshall, Producer, BBC Drama
  • Lou Birks, independent filmmaker

A series of workshops in the afternoon will be led by experienced professionals from the world of Media including:

  • Caglar Kimyoncu, renowned director and co-founder of the London Disability Film Festival

We look forward to welcoming emerging creative practitioners, journalists, filmmakers as well as those new to the area who would like to find out more at a stimulating day of speakers, networking and workshops. 

Plus information and advice from representatives of London and national media organisations.

FREE programme including Networking Lunch.  Access costs covered.

To be eligible you must identify as deaf or disabled and live in London.
