To coincide with the publication of his new book about Hancock – Tony Hancock: The Definitive Biography (Harper Collins) – we welcome author and programme-maker John Fisher to the BFI Southbank stage to discuss the comedian.

Our popular Tony Hancock season earlier this year proved people are still fascinated by the comedian, some 40 years after his death. To coincide with the publication of his new book about Hancock – Tony Hancock: The Definitive Biography (Harper Collins) – we are pleased to welcome author and programme-maker John Fisher to the BFI Southbank stage to take part in an illustrated talk about Hancock's life and career. Specially chosen clips will help to illuminate some of the areas John has unearthed in his exhaustive research.
