Seen by a staggering six million people in 1916, a ground-breaking propaganda film made in the middle of the Great War, restored by the Imperial War Museum.

Accompanied by Stephen Horne & Martin Pyne, and introduced by Toby Haggith of the IWM.

This special preview recreates the original musical suggestions for this ground-breaking propaganda film made in the middle of the Great War. In 1916 the feature film was in its infancy, the documentary didn't exist and yet this full-length film was made and seen by a staggering six million people. Few British films today could boast such an audience. This new restoration from the Imperial War Museum will be screening with an original Roll of Honour film.
