With that in mind, Herzog offers his own acutely ironic, absurdist account of our origins, chronicling a narrated tale of 'Creation', 'Paradise' and 'The Golden Age' with surreal, mysterious images of impoverishment, futility and wreckage shot in and around the Sahara.
